About Us
We are local youth
We are youth actors
Shakespeare in St Anthony park is a grassroots non-profit organization that organizes summer youth Shakespeare plays and workshops.

We do Shakespeare
. . . our way. Actors are encouraged to interpret Shakespeare's plays through a contemporary lens that includes music, dance, song, and loads of fun.
We are professional leadership
Sam Bardwell is a local Equity actor, theater maker, and inspiring youth mentor. He trained at the Guthrie Theater and plays at various venues across the Twin Cities. 2019 will be Sam's sixth season leading and growing the summer program.
We are community
Shakespeare in St Anthony Park is supported by the St Anthony Park Community Foundation, St Anthony Park Lutheran Church, St Paul Parks and Recreation, St Paul Youth Program Fund, and many generous community members.
We are volunteers
Parents, grandparents, and neighbors work together to organize and support our programing with fundraising projects, costumes, props, printing, posters, ushering, and refreshments.
We are the next generation
We introduce middle school youth to Shakespeare and his plays with selected scenes and speeches.

We are you
... and your friends and family. Everyone is invited to our performances at College Park. Go to our Summer 2019 page for more information.
